Mackeys
 
Mackeys, once an important fishing community and, from 1735 to 1938, a ferry landing for travelers crossing the Albemarle Sound. This quaint little village has a boat ramp, marina, and ship's store. Located  just off NC 308, approximately 2 miles north of the intersection of NC 308 and US 64.
