  Treasures of Heritage
rom the wealth of Somerset Place to the simplicity of the Davenport Homestead, Washington County's people and places demonstrate a rich and undeniable heritage. Take a walk back in time with the sights and sounds of Plymouth's Living History Weekend. Start the holiday season with an Agape Love Feast at historic Rehoboth Church east of Roper. Celebrate Native American Heritage at Pettigrew State Park near Creswell.

Old ways of farming, fishing and forestry are often the focus of seminars and special programs at Port O' Plymouth Museum. Roper's Heritage Park and Somerset Place Historic State Park offer tours and programs highlighting the skills and knowledge of Washington County's forbearers. Recognized now only by historic markers, visitors need just a little imagination to conjure up scenes of bustling activity at the site of Mackey's Ferry, Brick House Landing or Lee's Mill.

Visit Washington County and experience the past, present and future.
